Valentina, a singer and songwriter from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is one of the most promising artists in urban pop.
Since her debut in 2019 with “Enemigos,” she has demonstrated constant evolution, gaining recognition in 2020 with hits like “Money” and”Ganas,” which earned her the title of “Radar Artist for Central America and the Caribbean” by Spotify.
In 2022, she released SMTO, her first EP, featuring collaborations with DJ Maff, Luyo, and Bastian. Tracks like “perreo sad” opened doors for her in Mexico, while “xxxquisito” showcased her international versatility. In 2023, after signing with Universal Music Mexico, she presented playlist pa un cOrA RoTo, with “en santo domingo,” a song that reached H&M’s global playlists in countries like Mexico, the US, the Netherlands, and Japan. In 2024, she signed with Rimas Publishing, reinforcing her presence as a hit songwriter.
Her EP, Veranito Sad (2024), captured the emotions of a breakup, featuring songs like “1 Veranito Sad” and “Playa Rincón,” which celebrated her Dominican heritage. She closed the year with the EP Veranito No Tan Sad, fusing merengue and urban pop, and released acoustic versions accompanied by intimate videos.
Recently, Valentina successfully concluded her On The Road tour in Mexico, where she further consolidated her connection with the Latin American public. She is currently finalizing the final details for the release of her next single, Sad Por Madrid.
