This past Saturday, Myke Towers lit up Estadio La Cartuja in Seville with an unforgettable performance at La Velada del Año V, the multiplatform event created by streamer Ibai Llanos that has shattered global viewership records. In front of 85,000 fans and over 7 million more tuned in via Twitch, Towers delivered a show full of energy, precision, and commanding stage presence—further solidifying his place as one of the most respected and consistent forces in Latin music today.

His appearance at La Velada comes amid a streak of major achievements, led by the release of Island Boyz, his new 23-track album blending reggaetón, dancehall, dembow, Latin R&B, and afrobeats. The album debuted at #2 on Spotify’s Global Album Debuts chart and was the second most streamed album in Spain this week, reaffirming the international reach of the project. With this body of work, Towers leans into a deeply Caribbean and personal sonic identity. A standout track is “Soleao” featuring Quevedo, which debuted in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Top Songs Debut Global and earned Towers his 16th #1 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Airplay chart—cementing the song as one of the summer’s most-played anthems across Spain, the U.S., and Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rican artist has also brought his music to some of Europe’s most iconic stages with his Europa 2025 tour, selling out shows in cities including Barcelona, Valencia, Pamplona, Paris, Zurich, London, and Ibiza. This past Sunday, Towers performed a SOLD OUT show in Valencia in front of 17,000 fans at Auditorio Marina Sur, reaffirming both his deep connection with European audiences and the undeniable momentum of this new era. The tour not only underscores his global impact but highlights the strength of an artistic vision that continues to evolve without losing authenticity.
