The Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame (LSHOF) has announced that Lenny Tavárez, one of Latin music’s most influential voices and songwriters, will be honored with the La Musa Triunfador Award 2025 during the 12th edition of the LA MUSA Awards, set for October 16, 2025, at the prestigious Flamingo Theater in Miami.

This recognition comes shortly after Lenny’s big win at the 2025 SESAC Latina Awards, where he was named Pop/Rhythm Songwriter of the Year for the second time. Beyond his work as a hitmaker, Tavárez has built a reputation as a masterful songwriter whose pen has shaped some of Latin music’s most iconic hits.

He has written global anthems such as Anitta’s “Envolver” and Maluma’s “Coco Loco”, and contributed to Karol G’s GRAMMY-winning album Mañana Será Bonito with credits on fan favorites “Besties” and “Gatúbela.” His ability to craft lyrics and melodies that resonate worldwide has solidified his place among the most respected creators in the industry.

The La Musa Triunfador Award celebrates not only Tavárez’s chart-topping collaborations and solo hits, but also his lasting cultural and commercial impact. With a genre-blending style that fuses reggaeton, pop, and urban sounds, his songwriting continues to push boundaries and inspire new generations of artists.

Founded by Rudy Pérez and Desmond Child, the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame exists to preserve and honor the legacies of Latin music’s most extraordinary composers. The LA MUSA Awards have become a hallmark event, spotlighting the visionaries behind the songs that define Latin culture around the world.
