Jaze Releases “QNEPT:0001,” a Live Audiovisual Session That Brings His Album Home to Lima

As a gift to the fans who have followed his journey and to close a year marked by artistic growth and international milestones, Peruvian artist Jaze released “QNEPT:0001” this past Thursday, December 11. The long-format audiovisual project captures a live performance with his band, reimagining songs from his latest album, Quizá no es para tanto, in an intimate and deeply symbolic setting: Lima, the city where his musical story began.

More than a live session, QNEPT:0001 feels like a homecoming both geographically and creatively.

A Live Experience Rooted in Intimacy and Craft

Filmed inside a library located within a historic mansion in LimaQNEPT:0001 stands out for its exceptional sound quality and carefully curated atmosphere. The space mirrors the emotional and aesthetic universe of Quizá no es para tanto, an album that deliberately moves away from rigid formulas in favor of a free, organic creative process.

Each song breathes differently here, performed live, with real instruments, and shaped by the natural chemistry between Jaze and his band.

“We found the library of a house that fit incredibly well with the album’s aesthetic and feeling. Along with my band, we recorded seven songs live to create an audiovisual record of this moment. It felt like recording the album all over again in one day, but in a different way.” — Jaze

Reimagining “Quizá no es para tanto” in Real Time

Originally crafted through an exploratory and instinct-driven process, Quizá no es para tanto was always meant to exist beyond the studio. Jaze has been open about the album’s evolution, both its beauty and its uncertainty, and QNEPT:0001 fulfills a long-held vision.

“Recording Quizá no es para tanto was a charming and fascinating process, but also long and uncertain. From the very beginning, I felt it was an album made to be performed live: handmade, organic, with all real instruments, breathing. I always dreamed of doing a session like this.”

In QNEPT:0001, that dream materializes.

A Tracklist That Gains New Life

The session features seven songs, each presented with special arrangements that highlight new textures, emotions, and nuances:

  • Caminar al revés
  • Pensé en ti
  • Mil procedimientos
  • No le mienta a mamá
  • Las consecuencias
  • Boomeran
  • La terminal

One standout moment is “Pensé en ti,” a track recently selected by Spotify’s global editorial team for its Best Songs of 2025 list, further solidifying Jaze’s growing international presence.

Global Reach, Local Roots

Designed as a fully immersive audiovisual experience, QNEPT:0001 will premiere in full on Jaze’s YouTube channel, while each song will also feature its own Spotify video version. The live audio will be available across all major digital streaming platforms.

The release caps off a landmark year for Jaze, highlighted by his first international tour, with performances in:

Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Rosario, Baradero, Madrid, Barcelona, Lima, and Arequipa.

Looking ahead to 2026, Jaze already has confirmed dates in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara, signaling the next chapter of his expanding career.

A Meaningful Close to a Breakthrough Year

With QNEPT:0001, an acronym drawn directly from Quizá no es para tanto, Jaze doesn’t just revisit his latest album; he reframes it. The project captures a moment in time where artistry, growth, and gratitude intersect, offering fans a deeper, more personal connection to his music.

This isn’t a recap.
It’s a reflection and a bridge to what’s next.
