Global powerhouse Fuerza Regida has reached a historic new milestone in their career, officially becoming Latin GRAMMY®–nominated artists. The Latin Recording Academy® recognized the chart-topping band with their first-ever nomination at the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards, honoring their collaboration with Grupo Frontera on “ME JALO” in the category of Best Regional Song.
“ME JALO” Becomes a Viral Hit
The nomination follows the massive success of “ME JALO”, which became Fuerza Regida’s second #1 entry on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart and also reached the top spot on the Latin Airplay chart. Beyond radio dominance, the track ignited a viral wave on TikTok, inspiring over one million user-generated videos and cementing its place as one of the most influential regional Mexican songs of the year.
A Record-Breaking Year
This Latin GRAMMY® nod caps off what has been a groundbreaking year for Fuerza Regida. Their album 111XPANTIA set new records as both:
- The highest-grossing música mexicana release
- The highest-charting album by any Latin band
In addition, Fuerza Regida made history by selling out back-to-back shows at the Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Garden in the same weekend, a feat rarely achieved in Latin music. The group has also expanded its reach globally, introducing its Música Mexicana sound to new audiences in Colombia and beyond.
Apple Music Live Special
As their momentum continues, Fuerza Regida is preparing for the final stops of their “Esto No Es Un Tour” in Guadalajara and Monterrey. These shows follow their groundbreaking concert at Estadio GNP in Mexico City, which was recorded live as the first-ever música mexicana stadium concert for Apple Music. Fans can look forward to the highly anticipated special premiering on September 24.
Fuerza Regida’s first Latin GRAMMY® nomination is more than just an award nod, it’s a recognition of their role in bringing regional Mexican music to the global stage.
