Global superstar, 2x Latin GRAMMY® winner, and 4x GRAMMY® nominee Rauw Alejandro is entering a new era with the release of his electrifying new single and video “GuabanSexxx.” The track serves as the last advance release before his highly anticipated sixth studio album, Cosa Nuestra: Capítulo 0, officially drops. Fans can stream the single and watch the official video now.

Inspired by the Goddess of Storms

Drawing inspiration from Guabancex, the Taíno goddess of storms and chaos, Rauw blends House, Bomba, and Plena into a genre-bending anthem that feels both sensual and ancestral. The single is not only a nod to Puerto Rican roots but also a bold step into the future of Latin music.

Rauw teased “GuabanSexxx” during his surprise appearance at Bad Bunny’s residency in Puerto Rico, where he carried an umbrella in homage to the goddess and performed in a custom Herman Nadal and Willy Chavarria look designed to preview the album’s themes.

The Origin Story of Cosa Nuestra

Capítulo 0 is the official prequel to his chart-topping album Cosa Nuestra, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart and #6 on the Billboard 200. That project made history as the first Latin album to chart 15 tracks on the Spotify Global Top 200 and was just announced as a finalist for Top Latin Album of the Year at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards.

This year alone, Rauw has become a finalist in 14 Billboard categories, including Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year, cementing his position as one of the most dominant forces in Latin music.

Previous Singles Building the Hype

Before “GuabanSexxx,” Rauw introduced fans to Capítulo 0 with two powerful singles:

  • “Buenos Términos” – a cinematic exploration of a passionate yet toxic love, with visuals directed by Martin Seipel and El Zorro.
  • “Carita Linda” – a neo-bomba smash that topped both the Latin Airplay and Latin Pop Airplay charts, celebrating Puerto Rican culture and Rauw’s Afro-Boricua roots.

Honored for His Global Vision

Just last week, Rauw was awarded the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Award for Vision in Washington, D.C. In his emotional acceptance speech, he dedicated the honor to the Hispanic community, saying:

“I am the son of a cultural crossroads, and what a great blessing it is to carry this mix in my blood, because it is what guides my art and my path… Proud to be Puerto Rican, to have been born in the Caribbean: This is Cosa Nuestra!

The Cosa Nuestra World Tour – Latin America Leg

After completely sold-out runs across the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Europe, Rauw now prepares to bring his Cosa Nuestra World Tour to Latin America. Fans across Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico will experience the show that Rolling Stone calls “Latin music’s greatest spectacle.”
