Miguel Bueno Signs with Sony Music Latin, Marking a Major Step in His Global Career
Colombian rising star Miguel Bueno has officially joined the Sony Music Latin family, marking a pivotal moment in his artistic journey and setting the stage for his international expansion.
The signing ceremony took place at Sony Music Latin’s Miami headquarters, attended by Alex Gallardo (President of Sony Music Latin), Roberto Dávila (Miguel’s general manager and representative of Wayti Records, an affiliate of Industria INC), Laura Giraldo (the artist’s sister and representative of MB Music), and members of Sony’s Marketing and A&R teams all key figures who will oversee this exciting new phase in Bueno’s career.
At just 24 years old, Miguel Bueno stands out as one of the most promising and versatile voices of the new Latin generation. Earlier this year, he earned the Premios Heat award for “Rising Musical Talent,” a recognition that underscores his growing impact in the industry. His ability to navigate effortlessly between genres from urban pop and afrobeat to bachata, trap, and even música popular (inspired by his brother, Pipe Bueno) has positioned him as a dynamic artist capable of resonating across cultures and generations.
In March 2025, Miguel released “Solcito” alongside Juan Duque, a single that became the biggest hit of his career to date. The track amassed millions of streams across digital platforms, solidifying his presence in Latin America and earning him a nomination for Los 40 Music Awards España in the category of Best Latin Collaboration. The ceremony takes place on November 7 in Valencia, where Miguel will proudly represent Colombia on the international stage.
