Renowned singer, songwriter, and actress Leslie Grace has officially returned to the music scene with “AYAYAY,” a vibrant new single that blends tropical rhythms with electronic touches. The track marks the first preview of her upcoming studio album, her first full-length release in more than a decade.

A Fresh Stage in Leslie Grace’s Career

“I’m so excited to finally share new music with you all,” said Grace. “I’ve enjoyed this stage of my musical journey in a very different way compared to previous ones, collaborating with people who inspire me, challenge me, and most importantly, understand me.”

The Dominican-rooted star had not released original music since 2022, when she debuted “Como la Primera Vez” alongside Panamanian artist Boza. Now, with AYAYAY, she enters a new chapter that’s both personal and experimental.

The Sound of Falling in Love

According to Grace, AYAYAY is “the first act of a love story” that captures the intensity of fresh romance:

“It’s a love declaration in its earliest phase, when everything feels so intense and alive. Just like those first days of falling in love that awaken and refresh the senses, the track carries sounds that refresh the ear. I hope people dance to it and dedicate it a lot!”

Written by Grace along with Daniel González Sobrino, Ana Mancebo, and Óscar Familia, and produced by Eydren (Adrián Augusto Sánchez), the track fuses R&B, tropical, and pop in a sound that feels both nostalgic and modern.

A Visual Collaboration

The single is accompanied by a playful yet sensual music video, co-directed by María Corina Ramírez and Grace herself. “It’s been such a beautiful experience to take ownership of my creative process in this way, while also inviting the collaboration of friends who uniquely contributed to the vision,” she shared.

First Album in 12 Years

AYAYAY serves as the lead single from Leslie Grace’s upcoming album, her first since her 2013 self-titled debut, which produced bachata hits that topped the Billboard charts. She later released the EP Lloviendo Estrellas in 2015 and went on to score hits such as “Duro y Suave,” “Díganle,” and “Bachatica.”

Beyond music, Grace has also flourished in Hollywood with roles in projects like In the HeightsIn the Summer, and The Thicket.

Now, with AYAYAY, Leslie Grace is ready to reclaim her space at the forefront of Latin music, unveiling a renewed sound and setting the stage for one of the most significant projects of her career.
