Magic has always been synonymous with the music of Alejandro Sanz, and now the Spanish singer-songwriter has found the perfect partner to push that magic even further. Teaming up with fellow Spaniard Rels B, the duo unveiled “No Me Tires Flores,” a genre-blending track that fuses pop, flamenco, and rap, destined to leave its mark on Spanish-language music.
A Surprise Premiere at Auditorio Nacional
The song debuted live on September 12 during the first of Sanz’s six sold-out shows at Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional, part of his ¿Y Ahora Qué? Tour.
Before launching into the track, Sanz teased fans with a big reveal:
“I told you I had a surprise, before it was a secret. We’re going to premiere a song right here and record the video at the same time, so make sure you look your best. A songwriter I love and admire is here with me, his name is Rels B.”
That performance not only introduced the collaboration but also became the official music video, directed by Argentine filmmaker Diego Álvarez and produced by Plataforma, the team behind projects for Metallica, Shakira, and Molotov.
Honest Lyrics & Modern Sound
“No Me Tires Flores” carries a message about love, self-reflection, and authenticity. The lyrics reject superficial gestures and highlight the value of real connection:
No me tires flores que eso es para los muertos
No hace falta nadie, eso ya lo entiendo
No cuesta mil millones para comprar lo nuestro
Si me quieres como yo te quiero, todo está perfecto
The song’s unique blend of flamenco roots with urban rap and modern pop mirrors the personal artistry of both Sanz and Rels B raw, direct, and timeless.
A Milestone Year for Alejandro Sanz
This collaboration arrives during a milestone moment in Sanz’s career. Just months ago, he released a new project and recently earned four Latin GRAMMY® 2025 nominations, including:
- Record of the Year – “Palmeras en el Jardín”

- Song of the Year – “Palmeras en el Jardín”

Combined with his record-breaking tour in Mexico, these achievements underscore Sanz’s continued dominance in Latin music.
