Cuban singer, songwriter, and percussionist Alayn García, currently based in Miami, Florida, reaffirms his presence in the Latin music industry with a powerful statement: his work and artistic trajectory deserve recognition in this year’s Latin GRAMMY® Awards nominations.
A two-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee as a member of the acclaimed Mario Ortiz All Stars Band, Alayn shared musical credits with icons such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Víctor Manuelle, Tito Nieves, Andy Montañez, Ismael Miranda, Tony Vega, Rey Ruiz, and Jose Alberto “El Canario.” These collaborations have proven that his voice resonates within the highest ranks of the international salsa scene.
Beyond those collaborations, his career also includes performances alongside stars like Elvis Crespo, Aymee Nuviola, Jerry Rivera, Rafael “El Pollo” Brito, Marlon Fernandez, and Paulo FG, highlighting his versatility and credibility across the tropical music spectrum.
Currently, Alayn García is enjoying one of the most pivotal moments of his career with the release of “Muy Bien”, a contemporary salsa track carrying an optimistic and universal message that resonates with new generations. The song was produced in collaboration with Mr. Vla, renowned for his work with Enrique Iglesias, Tito El Bambino, and more recently, with Alanys Lagos in Chile.
“This is the kind of song you should blast first thing in the morning. It’s the perfect vehicle to reach the hearts of audiences everywhere. It radiates energy, with an infectious rhythm that people are sure to love,” affirms Alayn Garcia about his latest work.
Alayn has brought his voice and stage presence to prestigious venues such as Mexico’s National Theater, New York’s Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Radio City Music Hall, proudly representing salsa with authenticity and dignity throughout more than 16 years of professional experience.
With a powerful voice, a fresh perspective on the genre, and a modern sound aesthetic, Alayn Garcia stands out as an artist who deserves to be recognized by The Latin Recording Academy® in this 2025 edition.
On his upcoming agenda, Alayn has confirmed two high-profile invitations to Colombia. He will be featured in the Sixth Edition of the Monitor Latino Awards Showcases, an event that will bring together major Latin music figures such as Sergio Vargas, Jessi Uribe, Paola Jara, and El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. The gathering will take place from September 1 to 3 and will be streamed live on YouTube and broadcast via Telecaribe. In addition to performances, the event will include industry panels, networking opportunities, and a red carpet gala.
Furthermore, on September 19, 2025, Alayn will open the Vive La Salsa Festival at El Campin Stadium in Bogota, a massive celebration of Love and Friendship Day with an all-star lineup including El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Yiyo Sarante, Fruko y sus Tesos, Tony Vega, La 33, and more. Rescheduled for September, this festival promises an unforgettable evening featuring top-tier production and sound quality.
These two major appearances not only elevate Alayn’s profile on high-impact stages but also connect him with key audiences within the Latin music industry — just ahead of the Latin GRAMMY® Awards, set to take place this November in Las Vegas, Nevada.
