Colombian reggaetón star Ryan Castro delivered a night for the history books with a sold-out homecoming concert at the Coliseo MedPlus in Bogotá, marking the biggest show of his career to date. The performance, which sold out in less than five hours, brought together over 20,000 fans for a celebration of Colombian pride, global success, and the unstoppable rise of El Tío Favorito de Colombia.

The explosive show, Castro’s only concert in Colombia this year, highlighted his chart-topping albums Sendéand Hopi Sendé, immersing the audience in a vibrant mix of reggaetón, dancehall, and Caribbean rhythms. From the moment he hit the stage, the energy was unmatched, as fans sang every lyric to hits like “Ba Ba Bad Remix,” “Sanka,” “Bombastik,” “Botapafo,” and “Donde.”

The night became even more unforgettable when Latin music icon Nicky Jam joined Castro for a 15-minute medley of his greatest hits, while Jory Boy amped up the nostalgia performing several reggaetón classics. True to his roots, Ryan also used the spotlight to elevate Colombia’s new generation of urban talent, inviting DFZM, Maisak, Hamilton, and Rayo & Toby to perform a powerful moment showcasing the country’s creative evolution.

Adding to the celebration, the event coincided with the official launch of Billboard Colombia’s Hot 100 chart, where Ryan currently holds an astonishing nine songs on the list, including his viral smash “Donde,” sitting proudly at #1.

Before stepping on stage, Castro was honored with seven industry plaques and a commemorative ticket for his sold-out show. Recognition included:

  • Diamond for “Ojalá” and “Bombastik”

Following the historic night, fans in Medellín have begun spotting mysterious billboards reading “El Tío Favorito de Colombia Vuelve a Casa” (“Colombia’s Favorite Uncle Returns Home”), fueling speculation about another massive hometown performance on the horizon.

Now, Ryan Castro prepares to take the Sendé Tour to the United States, bringing his explosive live show to:
