JUAN FERNANDO VELASCO ANNOUNCES JULIO ETERNO TOUR ACROSS THE U.S.
Following the release of one of the most moving musical projects of his career, Juan Fernando Velasco officially announces the Julio Eterno Tour, a 20-city U.S. tour taking place this October. Inspired by his latest EP Julio Eterno, the Ecuadorian artist pays tribute to the legendary Julio Jaramillo through duets in which the original voice of the “Nightingale of the Americas” is brought back to life through technology.
The tour kicks off on October 5 in Miami and will travel through major cities including Atlanta, Nashville, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, New York, and Los Angeles, among others. Tickets are now available at www.juanfernandovelasco.com.
Julio Eterno, produced by Andrés Castro and mixed by Curt Schneider, is an EP that transcends time with reimagined versions of Latin American classics. At the heart of the project is the bolero “Cinco Centavitos,” written by Héctor Ulloa, which explores the emotional cost of happiness and love. Through carefully crafted arrangements and collaborations with world-class musicians like AaronSterling, Velasco strikes an intimate balance between the acoustic and the contemporary.
The EP includes five tracks: “Cinco Centavitos,” “Ódiame,” “Rondando tu Esquina,” “Nuestro Juramento,” and “No me Toquen ese Vals.” Each song is reinterpreted through a modern yet respectful lens, grounded in Ecuadorian roots by local musicians such as Navijio Cevallos.
The Julio Eterno Tour not only celebrates the legacy of a legend but also invites audiences to reflect on what it means to belong, to honor, and to move forward. The concerts promise an intimate and emotional experience, where the voice of Julio Jaramillo — now joined by Juan Fernando Velasco — will resonate like never before.
