Latin GRAMMY® winner and GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter-producer Feid is set to begin an exciting new chapter in his career as the first Latin artist to curate his own stage at the prestigious festival Summer Sonic 2025. As a leading voice in Latin music, Feid will design a stage that celebrates his roots while introducing Latin sounds to new audiences. He aims to build an immersive urban experience featuring Colombian band Bomba Estéreo, Medellín’s iconic nightclub Perro Negro, and GRAMMY®-nominated producer Tainy. Located at Zozo Marine Stadium & Makuhari Messe, the Beach Stage will be transformed by Feid into his own world, named after one of his previous albums, “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo,” as an early birthday celebration. The stage will reflect his distinctive artistic eye across every element, from curation and design to lineup and messaging. Its presence marks not only a historic moment for the genre but also a cultural statement that Latin music holds undeniable global power.
Summer Sonic is known for its wide-ranging lineup that includes rock, pop, K-pop, and electronic music. This year’s announced performers include Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, J Balvin, The Prodigy, and aespa. Feid’s inclusion among these international acts reinforces his growing influence and highlights the impact of a genre that emerged from the Caribbean and South America. His presence at Summer Sonic positions him as a cultural bridge between Latin America and Asia, bringing new rhythms and voices to the global stage. The partnership feels especially meaningful, as Feid’s music videos often incorporate Japanese language, aesthetics, and symbols—elements that have become part of his visual identity.
This milestone comes during a pivotal moment in his career. Earlier this summer, Feid released his sixth studio album “FERXXO VOL X: SAGRADO,” a deeply personal body of work that celebrates his 10-year career trajectory and creative evolution. The album features collaborations with rapper Ty Dolla $ign, reggaeton legend Wisin, and Pacific Colombian powerhouse Nidia Góngora. Entirely written and produced by Feid, the concept album reflects the clarity and intention that define his current artistic phase. As part of the rollout, Feid released visuals like the nostalgic, Y2K-inspired video for “ANDO XXIL,” which featured a surprise cameo from skateboarding icon Tony Hawk.
One of the standout tracks, “NO ME DEJO XXIMBIAR,” has taken off on TikTok, becoming a viral summer anthem with more than 10,000 user-generated videos. Feid actively embraced the trend by sharing his own content, reinforcing the close connection he shares with his fans.
With each step in his career, whether it be his newest album or curating the Summer Sonic stage, Feid manages to turn the ordinary actions of everyday life into unique experiences that break barriers. His authenticity and genuine ability to connect with fans through music and immersive moments have paved the way for Latin music to thrive in uncharted venues. Later this year, he will take the stage at the HARD Summer Festival in August, iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, and the Austin City Limits Music Festival in October, continuing to expand his global reach. His newest chapter in Japan will not only amplify his vision but further cement his status as one of the most influential international artists of his generation.
