ELVIS CRESPO JOINS THE NEW SEASON OF TOP CHEF VIP
Following the landmark release of his album “Poeta Herío,” tropical music icon Elvis Crespo embarks on a new adventure. Crespo joins the new season of Top Chef VIP as one of the 20 celebrities who will be put to the test with culinary challenges. The cooking competition premieres next Tuesday, July 29 at 7 PM/6 C on Telemundo.
“I’m very excited for this new challenge and opportunity that has come into my life. Every adventure has its learning curve, and I’m sure this one will be no exception. I’m up for the challenge, and I’m going for it!”, expressed Elvis Crespo about his participation in Top Chef VIP.
Hosted by Carmen Villalobos, the fourth season of Top Chef VIP will bring together a new group of 20 renowned personalities who will put their culinary skills to the test in each episode, running Monday through Friday and Sunday. Week after week, their skills and techniques will be evaluated by a demanding panel of judges composed of renowned professional chefs. In the end, only one of them will be crowned the season’s grand champion, taking home the coveted title of Top Chef VIP and a cash prize of $200,000.
Recently, the Latin music icon released his album “Poeta Herío”, available on all digital platforms. This album marks a bold and personal chapter in Crespo’s legendary career. Blending heartbreak and healing with vibrant rhythms and dynamic collaborations, such as “Cora Roto” (Arcangel), the track that has remained number 1 in the Dominican Republic for four weeks, “Me Maratraon” (El Blachy), and “Borron y Cuenta Nueva” (Toño Rosario, Ebenezer Guerra and La Insuperable), the album captures the essence of love lost and found again, all through the global vision of the tropical sound that Crespo has pioneered for over two decades. Crespo officially launched “Poeta Herío” in NY from Time Square, in Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic, and officially in Puerto Rico with 15,000 fans in his first SOLD-OUT performance at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico.
