Global music icon Daddy Yankee is back with Lamento en Baile, his first studio album in three years, now available on all digital platforms via DY Records. The project arrives with the release of his brand-new single “El Toque,” accompanied by a visually stunning music video filmed in South Korea, marking one of his most ambitious visuals to date.

A Journey from Pain to Power

Lamento en Baile captures a deeply personal chapter in Daddy Yankee’s life. Recorded during one of his most challenging moments, the album symbolizes both healing and transformation, blending emotional reflection with the infectious energy that made him a global phenomenon.

“With Lamento en Baile, I wanted to show that even in life’s hardest moments, music has the power to heal, inspire, and celebrate,” shares Daddy Yankee. “Every track tells a story from my heart, and I can’t wait for my fans to dance and feel this journey with me.”

A Tracklist Straight from the Heart

The album includes standout tracks such as “Quién Es Dios,” “Tan Invitao’,” “Gloria,” “Toy Hermoso,” “LEB,” and “Jezabel y Judas.” The latter reunites Daddy Yankee with legendary producer Sergio George, known for their past collaborations on “De Vuelta Pa’ La Vuelta” and “Bonita.”

The title track “LEB” carries a special meaning derived from the word “heart,” representing the core of human thought, emotion, and decision-making. Each song on the album is a pulse of rhythm and emotion, showcasing Daddy Yankee’s evolution as both an artist and storyteller.

From Bushwick to the World

The album’s first preview, “Sonríele,” released earlier this year from Bushwick, New York, revealed a more intimate side of the Puerto Rican superstar. It set the tone for what Lamento en Baile would become: a heartfelt celebration of resilience, gratitude, and love for the craft.

Now, with “El Toque” leading the charge, fans can experience a bold fusion of global influences and cinematic storytelling that continues to redefine Daddy Yankee’s legacy.

Lamento en Baile and “El Toque” are available now on all digital platforms via DY Records.
