Zaider, one of the leading figures of Afrobeat in Colombia, joins forces with Puerto Rican artist Darell in “Toko Teke”, the perfect track for the club. With a dark vibe that fuses various urban rhythms without losing the essence of Afro music, this new release was produced by Blaine (producer for Kapla y Miky, Hamilton, and De La Ghetto).

Zaider, a singer and songwriter from Cartagena, who currently boasts over 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify and more than 350 million views on his official YouTube channel, shared his excitement about the release: “Collaborating with an artist like Darell, a reggaeton icon, is incredible. His energy and humility made everything flow perfectly. I believe this was the perfect moment to team up with someone of his caliber and create this hit together.”

The official video for “Toko Teke” was filmed under the full moon in Medellín, capturing a party vibe where both artists convey the essence of the song in every scene: street life, partying, the neighborhood, the club, and plenty of dancing.

This collaboration with Darell follows Zaider’s work alongside Goyo on “Volver a verte”, his recent single “¿Qué Sigue?” with producer duo The Prodigiez, and the viral track “Alma” featuring Kapo, which reached the viral charts in over 18 Spanish-speaking countries. Zaider was recently highlighted by Billboard as one of the Top 10 Afro-New Generation Artists to Know, and has taken his music to countries such as Spain, with upcoming plans to tour the U.S.
