Young global star, Trueno, continues to evolve and push his creativity forward with his latest release, ‘EL ÚLTIMO BAILE DELUXE (ALBUM),‘ A fresh take and a bold continuation of his Latin GRAMMY winning ‘EL ÚLTIMO BAILE,’ showcases forward thinking sound design, dynamic range and mature concepts that continue to solidify TR1’s limitless potential.
As a true student of the five pillars of Hip-Hop, Trueno starts off the album with a heavy 808-laced beat weaving in and out of a sample of one of the genre’s most iconic and important songs from 1982, “The Message” by Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five – which leads into to the appropriately-titled, “GRANDMASTER.” The intro is then followed up by the laid back boom bap single “CRUZ” bringing Colombian sensation Feid into Trueno’s world where the two exchange bars reflecting on how love can be so fickle. “EN LA CITY” featuring yet another strong pen, Young Miko, showcases Trueno’s range with a more experimental cross pollinated sound layering Hip-Hop drums over an electronic driving bassline and a pop chord progression. Trueno shows his more sensible side on the dedicate-able “LAURYN” as he slows down over airy reverbed vocal samples, string like synths and shiny plucks.
The second half of the album shifts to a space where Trueno really flexes his pen, in songs like “VIOLENTO” where he calls out anyone that wants to step to him over distorted oversaturated 808s reminiscent of the outro of Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA.” Trueno continues to show his love and respect for West Coast Hip-Hop with a bassline and bounce inspired by that region on standout single “FRESH” which sounds what could be a DJ Mustard produced beat. ‘E.U.B. DELUXE (ALBUM)‘ ends back on the East Coast with “3:44,” featuring the production of the legendary DJ Premier, known for his work with none other than Biggie, Nas and Jay-Z. The song is a beautiful ode to Hip-Hop and the outro is meticulously painted with velvety strings that then ends with the iconic DJ Premier scratches sampling “X,” a song by Peligro who is Trueno’s own father, just after Trueno leaves a message for the youth of his generation that anything is possible.
Trueno will drop the music video for the project’s breakout single, “FRESH” the day before the album is released. Trueno also just announced his E.U.B. (DELUXE) WORLD TOUR where he will be visiting Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Spain Switzerland and Sweden along with more dates to be announced.

The last year has seen Trueno’s ascent as a global star in which he has cemented himself as at the ripe age of just 23. This rise has been evident as his 2024 release, ‘EL ÚLTIMO BAILE,’ with runaway single “Real Gangsta Love” catapult to #10 on Spotify’s Global Top 50 chart and winning his first Latin GRAMMY in the “Best Urban Fusion/Performance” category for “Tranky Funky” from the same LP. Trueno has also graced international stages with the critically acclaimed and appropriately titled, “EL ÚLTIMO BAILE WORLD TOUR,” with sold out shows in Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Barcelona and Madrid while also making a debut into the U.S. with a standout performance at Outside Lands last summer in San Francisco. He then sold out shows in major hip-hop hubs, including Los Angeles, New York and Miami. The tour extended to Spain, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay and Costa Rica, further solidifying his global presence.
