Premios Juventud 2025 is making history. For the first time ever, the annual awards show will broadcast live from Panama City on Thursday, September 25, bringing Latin music’s biggest celebration straight to the heart of Central America. This year’s show will open with a powerful tribute to Panama, highlighting the country’s rich culture, rhythms, and traditions. Fans can tune in live on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión, ViX, and Tele Metro (Panama).

A Tribute to Panama’s Iconic Sounds

The opening number will be a musical journey through Panama’s most influential genres, featuring legendary songs like “Ellos Benia Dem Bow,” “La Murga,” and “Señorita a mí me gusta su style.” The performance will bring together an all-star lineup, including Boza, Farruko, Los Rabanes, Nando Boom, Natti Natasha, Samy & Sandra Sandoval, Sech, and Willie Colón.

This tribute not only honors Panama’s musical legacy but also showcases its undeniable influence on Latin music worldwide, from the roots of reggae en español and cumbia to salsa and reggaetón.

Spotlight on the Artists

  • Boza – Returning to his homeland, Boza will be part of the tribute while also performing a medley of his global hits “Ella,” “Hecha Pa’ Mí,” “Orion,” and “Yaya.” He enters the night with two nominations.
  • Los Rabanes – The iconic Panamanian group will make their Premios Juventud debut with their classic “Señorita a mí me gusta su style.” Known for blending rock, ska, and reggae, they remain one of Panama’s most influential bands.
  • Farruko – In a surprise tribute, Farruko will honor Panama’s sounds before premiering a medley from his new album 167BPM, in collaboration with Louis BPM, for the first time on TV.
  • Nando Boom & Natti Natasha – Nando Boom, a pioneer of Panamanian reggae, will perform his groundbreaking hit “Ellos Benia Dem Bow” alongside Natti Natasha, who will also premiere a brand-new song in a performance featuring a heartfelt gender reveal.
  • Samy & Sandra Sandoval – Known as “The Patrons of Cumbia,” the siblings from Monagrillo will make their long-awaited debut, showcasing Panama’s traditional sounds on a global stage.
  • Sech – The reggaetón star returns to the Premios Juventud stage to debut his new dancehall single “Novio No.” He comes in with two nominations.
  • Willie Colón – The salsa legend and Fania All-Stars pioneer will perform the timeless anthem “La Murga.”

A Historic Celebration During Hispanic Heritage Month

For the first time, Premios Juventud will take place during Hispanic Heritage Month, amplifying the cultural pride and unity of Latin America from one of its most dynamic cities.

The show will be hosted by Alejandra Espinoza, Nadia Ferreira, and Clarissa Molina, and will feature additional performances from Alemán, Bad Gyal, Camilo, Carlos Vives, Emilia, Esaú Ortiz, Fonseca, Grupo Firme, Grupo Niche, Lola Indigo, Louis BPM, Maluma, Morat, Myke Towers, Sergio George, Silvestre Dangond, Xavi, and Yami Safdie, with more surprises to be announced.

This year’s edition of Premios Juventud 2025 is more than an award show, it’s a cultural milestone.
