HOW IT WORKS
The Process
- Submit your application

- If accepted, you receive onboarding + roster guidelines
- You submit mixes/show details (based on your tier)
- We publish and promote across LaMezcla platforms
Timeline line:

DJ REQUIREMENTS (set expectations)
1. Audio & Technical Standards
- Minimum 320kbps MP3 or WAV file format
- Clean mixing (no clipping, distortion, or inconsistent levels)
- Professional transitions and track flow
- Properly exported and labeled files
- Accurate tracklist required with each submission
If your mix is not broadcast-ready, it will not be approved.
2. Submission Commitment
Accepted DJs are expected to:
- Submit 2–3 curated mixes per month
- Each mix takes approximately 15–20 minutes
- Deliver on time based on the agreed schedule
- Participate in themed campaigns or special takeovers when available
Consistency is key. Inactive DJs may be removed from the active roster.
3. Brand Alignment
DJs must:
- Incorporate official LaMezcla audio drops in all approved mixes
- Maintain a professional tone that aligns with the Latin music community
- Follow branding guidelines when using LaMezcla logos or assets
- Represent the brand respectfully in public and online spaces
LaMezcla is a media platform not just a mix host.
4. Social Media Participation
DJs are expected to:

- Promote their LaMezcla-featured mixes on their social channels
- Tag official LaMezcla accounts
- Use provided promotional graphics when available
- Support major campaigns and app initiatives
5. Content & Rights Responsibility
DJs must confirm that:
- They have the right to distribute submitted mixes
- Content does not include hate speech, harassment, or illegal material
- Explicit content is properly labeled
LaMezcla reserves the right to decline any submission that does not meet platform standards.
6. Professionalism
We prioritize DJs who:
- Take their craft seriously
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
- Meet deadlines
- Are open to collaboration
- Are interested in long-term growth within a structured platform
7. Optional but Preferred
- EPK or media kit
- Professional headshots
- Active social media presence
- Experience performing at live events
- Ability to record radio-style intros
