In an unforgettable night for Spanish-language music, Andrés Cepeda took home the 2025 Latin GRAMMY® for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for his critically acclaimed project Bogotá. The award was announced live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where Cepeda arrived as one of the evening’s most celebrated nominees and left as one of its biggest winners.

Earlier in the night, Cepeda also graced the stage during the Latin GRAMMY® Premiere Ceremony, delivering a performance that perfectly captured the elegance, emotion, and musical richness of his award-winning album.

With three nominations on the table, Cepeda’s win marks an important moment in his career a career already decorated with multiple Latin GRAMMYs and countless accolades. Released under Warner Music MéxicoBogotá has earned significant praise for its artistic honesty, emotional depth, and refined sound.

The album showcases Cepeda’s wide-ranging musical identity, blending pop, bolero, ballad, and traditional Colombian influences in a heartfelt tribute to his hometown. Featuring standout collaborations with Morat, Ha*Ash, Luis Fonsi, and Los Ángeles Azules on the fan-favorite track “Cariñito”, the project has quickly become one of Cepeda’s most beloved works.

Recorded between Henson Studios in Los Angeles and Audiovisión in Bogotá, the album was produced by industry heavyweights Andrés TorresMauricio Rengifo, and Cepeda himself. Its lyrical depth and timeless sound earned the artist additional nominations for Song of the Year and Best Pop Song for his track “Bogotá”.
