DJ Gatica: DJ Biography

Gatica is a DJ, Media Personality, and Podcaster. Born and raised in Queens, New York, she can often be found energizing audiences in major cities across the nation.  As a mom of two lovely daughters and CEO of a female-focused DJ company (Xoxo Entertainment), her hustle is unmatched, and her drive is unstoppable. In addition to her DJ career, she hosts a weekly podcast, “Talk about it with Gatica” on multiple platforms, which features a variety of guests in the entertainment industry, from music artists to social media influencers. Her charismatic stage presence, collaborative spirit, and unparalleled versatility has provided her the opportunity to combine her passion for music and community with her desire to create unforgettable experiences.

After graduating from college, working at radio stations and in education utilizing media production, Gatica now pursues her passion more fully for making people’s lives better through music and virtual storytelling.  Determined to develop her craft during the COVID-19 pandemic, she maximized her time in lockdown to deepen her love and knowledge of DJing. She shared her talents online, building a virtual fanbase that smoothly transitioned into physical audiences when the city began to open again. Her expert track selection, fused with a range of music styles that include House, Latin, Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop, allowed her to redefine musical boundaries and continues to captivate audiences.
