Staying true to his collaborative spirit and constantly exploring the sounds that have shaped his musical journey, Colombian singer-songwriter and producer Andrés Cepeda presents “Una Flor,” a powerful new track in collaboration with fellow Colombian artist Manuel Medrano.

Una Flor” is also featured on Bogotá, an album that pays homage to the city where Cepeda’s career began, and one that dives into the diverse sounds and genres that have influenced his artistic identity. It’s a project that bridges generations and cultures across the Latin American musical landscape.

Since last year, Andrés began unveiling this album, releasing singles that quickly resonated with his audience’s everyday lives. Songs like “El Café,” “Bogotá,” “Cariñito,” and “Otra Canción” built anticipation for what was still to come.

Strongly influenced by Cuban son, “Una Flor” invites listeners on a sonic journey through the roots of Caribbean music. It’s an elegant fusion of traditional son and the essence of Colombian pop.

The vocal chemistry between Cepeda and Medrano gives the song its distinctive character—two unique voices blending to tell a love story full of depth and nuance. “This song is a perfect universe for our voices and styles to come together,” says CepedaMedrano adds, “The influences in Andrés’ music—Cuban son, salsa, cha-cha-cha—have always been part of my life. This collaboration was long overdue.”

Bogotá has many sounds, but I focus on two,” explains Cepeda. “That noisy, cosmopolitan city, mixed with the sounds of the nature that surrounds it—its wetlands, mountains, and highland moors.”

The album was recorded and produced at the iconic Henson Studios in Los Angeles and Audiovisión in Bogotá, with production led by Andrés TorresMauricioRengifoCepeda himself, and a team of world-class musicians and engineers.

Una Flor” and Andrés Cepeda’s fifteenth studio album Bogotá will be available on all digital platforms starting April 25
