Pitbull, globally known as Mr. 305 and Mr. Worldwide, is celebrating a major milestone: the 10th anniversary of his GRAMMY® Award-winning Latin album DALE, released on July 17, 2015. The album marked a defining moment in his career, solidifying his status not just as a crossover star, but as a cultural ambassador of Miami and the global Latin movement.

To commemorate this milestone, Pitbull teamed up with Apple Maps to launch an all-new ‘Hyperlocal’ guide in Apple Maps: “Pitbull’s Miami Spots.” The curated guide features some of Pitbull’s favorite places across the 305—from beloved local restaurants and small businesses to the impactful non-profit organizations he supports, including SLAM!, the charter school he helped create to empower future generations through education, sports, and leadership.

“Anything’s possible in the 305,” says Pitbull. “DALE is more than just an album—it’s a celebration of where I come from, what I believe in, and what we can build when we do it together. I’m proud to share the places that shaped me, inspired me, and keep me grounded.”

Released at a time when Latin music was rapidly crossing into mainstream markets, DALE helped pave the way for bilingual and Spanglish albums to find global audiences. The project won the GRAMMY® for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album and delivered hit after hit. Among the standout tracks that defined the album’s legacy:

  • “Baddest Girl in Town” (feat. Mohombi & Wisin) – A high-energy anthem that became a dance floor favorite worldwide.
  • “El Taxi” (feat. Sensato & Osmani García) – A viral smash that blended humor, rhythm, and global flavor.
  • “Como Yo Le Doy” (feat. Don Miguelo) – A bold and sultry track that showcased Pitbull’s Dominican influences.
  • “Yo Quiero (Si Tú Te Enamoras)” (feat. Gente de Zona) – A celebration of love, rhythm, and Cuban pride that quickly became a fan favorite.

DALE played a pivotal role in bridging cultures, languages, and communities, reflecting Pitbull’s own journey and ethos. A decade later, its influence can still be heard in today’s Latin pop landscape.

The new Apple Maps ‘Hyperlocal’ guide is part of a broader series where cultural icons recommend their favorite places. Other featured guides include Becky G’s Los Angeles SpotsCamilla Cabello’s Miami SpotsYoung Miko’s Puerto Rico Spots, and Enrique Olvera’s Mexico City Spots

With DALE turning 10 and “Pitbull’s Miami Spots” launching this week, it’s the perfect moment to celebrate Pitbull’s music, his city, and his culture.
