Renowned salsa artist Víctor Manuelle presents his new single “Si Volviera Jesús,” an emotional song that is part of his latest album, Retromántico.
“Si Volviera Jesús” invites reflection on today’s society, depicting how the modern world, marked by uncertainty, would respond if Jesus were to return as a human being. Written by the renowned Jorge Luis Piloto and arranged by Franky Suárez, the song aims to move listeners and inspire them to strengthen their faith and spiritual values.
“With this song, I wanted my fans to reflect on the current state of our faith and the events happening around the world. Additionally, in seeking new ways to convey the song’s message, we used artificial intelligence to create a video that is not only visually impactful but also encourages deep thought about our relationship with spirituality,” said Víctor Manuelle.
In the video, Víctor Manuelle is depicted as a witness to the Second Coming of Jesus, observing how the Messiah is received in a world marked by indifference. The visual narrative reflects the song’s message, showing scenes in which Jesus walks among people absorbed in their mobile devices, oblivious to his presence, while others react with rejection. As the video progresses, people begin to disconnect from their distractions and recognize his arrival, ultimately embracing his message of faith and hope.
The video for “Si Volviera Jesús” was directed by artificial intelligence expert Isak ATOM, who stated, “My goal was to visually translate the story told in the song, ensuring that each scene reflects its essence. I also added details that complement the narrative, creating a more immersive and emotional cinematic experience.”
This is not the first time Víctor Manuelle has explored sacred music. In previous productions, he performed the songs “El que te llama” and “Yo confío en ti.” He has also composed songs for Christian artists such as Ismael Miranda and the group Ahicam, reaffirming his commitment to conveying messages of faith through his music.
With this release, the salsa artist continues to demonstrate his artistic versatility and his commitment to using music to convey meaningful messages.
