In a world where young people face more barriers than opportunities, two icons from different generations have decided to join forces to change the narrative. Myke Towers, one of the most powerful names in Latin urban music, and David Villa, World Cup champion and Spanish football legend, are launching the first phase of a strategic alliance between their organizations — Young Kingz Foundation and DV7 Academy — aimed at igniting a real spark of hope in vulnerable communities across Puerto Rico, New York, Colombia, and Spain.
Both figures deeply believe in the power of sports and culture as engines of transformation. This collaboration translates into tangible programs: free sports clinics in underserved neighborhoods, cultural exchange trips, restoration of urban spaces for play and community, high-level training for young talents with limited resources, and emotional and educational support for immigrant children and those in foster care. It’s a model of community development that doesn’t just dream big — it acts big.
“We want this project to serve as both inspiration and opportunity for thousands of young people who only need someone to believe in them. We’re committed to providing them with the tools they need to thrive doing what they love most,” both state with conviction.
The project has already launched several initiatives. In New York, the collaboration between DV7 and Hispanic Federation, supported by Councilmember Francisco Moya, reached hundreds of Latino and immigrant youth in Queens. This new phase, now in partnership with Young Kingz Foundation, expands its reach and raises its ambition: to connect continents, talent, and dreams.
This alliance is not simply between two celebrities. It’s a pact between leaders who understand the weight of their influence and are using it in service of those who need it most. It’s also an open invitation to governments, companies, and social actors to join a movement committed to the holistic development of youth — from the field and the stage to the classroom and the heart.
