Luck Ra, the breakout voice of Argentina’s modern cuarteto scene, today releases Qué Sed,” his highly anticipated first international album under Sony Music Latin. This vibrant collection not only celebrates his roots but also takes his music beyond borders, connecting with audiences across Latin America and beyond.

It’s very exciting to see the fruits of our labor come together. This album is an expression of my roots, with an eye reaching international markets,” said Luck Rawhen talking about Qué Sed’. “It’s made with appreciation and love for the fans and immense passion for music.”

In the focus track, “FUE CULPA TUYA,” Luck Ra invites Argentine star Tiago PZKon this infectious cuarteto that blends electronic and urban rhythms to address the end of a relationship. The energetic percussion of cuarteto intertwines with urban beats, creating a perfect contrast with the emotional intensity of the lyrics. Through direct, unfiltered verses, the protagonist confronts his ex-partner, stating that the breakup “was your fault” while demanding she takes responsibility for the emotional aftermath. Throughout the song, Luck Ra continues paying tribute to his Cordobanroots, incorporating references to fernet, one of the most iconic beverages from the Argentine province, as a central element in the song’s narrative.

Spanning 14 tracks, Qué Sed” stays true to Luck Ra’s signature cuarteto style, a genre he has helped modernize and popularize among younger audiences. At the same time, the album explores new sonic territories.

The project includes a Mexican cumbia alongside Kenia OS on “Arruíname La Vida,” a powerful reggae with Dread Mar-I titled “Buscando Un Amor,” and a high-energy collaboration with Spain’s Lola Índigo on “Por El Ex No Se Llora.” Luck Ra’s versatility also shines on “Doctor,” an Argentine cumbia featuring Nicki Nicole, which has already gained traction ahead of the album release.

These collaborations are like a party,” Luck Ra added. “This album brings together friends and artists who have been part of my story since I was a kid.”

Two legends of Latin music trusted Luck Ra to reimagine their classics: Chayanne on “Un Siglo Sin Ti” and Elvis Crespo on “Suavemente.” In both tracks, Luck Ra breathes new life into these iconic anthems, keeping their essence intact while giving them a fresh twist for today’s generation.

The production features rhythms and instruments that have defined Latin music for decades — from tropical trumpets to the nostalgic sounds of the Argentine bandoneón, making this album both a tribute and a reinvention.

The project also includes collaborations with Tiago PZK, Ulises Bueno, Ke Personajes, Khea, and Maluma, who joins Luck Ra for the remix of “Hola Perdida,” ensuring a diverse and powerful album that positions “Qué Sed” as a major step in Luck Ra’s international career.

At just 26 years old, Juan Facundo Almenara Ordóñez — known worldwide as Luck Ra — has become one of the most streamed artists in Argentina and across the Spanish-speaking world. His blend of traditional cuarteto, pop, and urban elements has redefined the genre, making it a staple on international playlists and stages.

In recent months, Luck Ra has captivated audiences of over 30,000 fans at major festivals like América RockStar (Uruguay) and Carnaval de Las Palmas (Spain). This year, he will embark on his international “El Baile del Año Tour,” with dates already confirmed in Madrid and Barcelona.

Produced by Ramky En Los Controles — Luck Ra’s childhood friend and key collaborator — “Qué Sed” cements his leadership within Argentina’s new music scene while aiming to take cuarteto and Latin fusion to dance floors across the globe.

Luck Ra has revolutionized cuarteto, blending the traditional with the contemporary, and elevating the genre far beyond its native Córdoba. With chart-topping hits like “El Campeón” — anthem of Argentina’s national soccer team during Copa América 2021 — “La Morocha,” and “Hola Perdida,” Luck Ra has become one of the most influential names in Latin music today.
