KENIA OS HITS U.S. THEATERS WITH THE RELEASE OF HER FILM KENIA OS: LA OG
Mexican pop star Kenia Os hits the big screen in the United States with the release of her acclaimed feature film KENIA OS: LA OG, premiering in theaters in Los Angeles on August 29, and continuing its theatrical run in Miami, New York, Chicago, and across the rest of the U.S. After breaking pre-sale records in Mexico, the film will continue its journey with a special screening and appearance by Kenia Os at the NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival in Miami on September 5, ahead of its nationwide theatrical release on September 6.
Produced by Sony Music Entertainment Mexico through its division Sony Music Vision, and distributed by Spanglish Movies, the film offers an intimate and cinematic glimpse into the emotional and transformative journey of the artist before, during, and after her two sold-out Pink Aura concerts at the iconic Palacio de los Deportes.
Directed by Ana Nube, Gastón Etchechoury, and Kenia Os herself, with cinematography by Yann Puerto, KENIA OS: LA OG goes beyond a traditional music film—it’s a story of passion, dedication, and community that captures the essence of a pivotal era in the pop star’s life.
Starting September 6, fans across the U.S. will be able to experience the film in theaters in major cities including Miami, New York, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, Corpus Christi, El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio.
This marks Kenia Os’ second big-screen appearance following the success of UNIVERSO K23, which earned her a Latin GRAMMY® nomination, landed in the Top 10 box office in LATAM, and was celebrated at international festivals like the Cannes World Film Festival and the Berlin Indie Film Festival.
Already one of the top-selling pre-sale events in Mexico in 2025, KENIA OS: LA OG continues its global expansion, reinforcing Kenia Os’ artistic vision and cementing her legacy beyond music.
