Acclaimed singer-songwriter Jay Wheeler continues evolving musically, baring his soul purely and honestly to the world. His newest ballad, “No Sé Qué Me Queda” (NSQMQ), defines a personal journey because of experiences that were confronted. With his unmistakable style and an emotionally charged performance, the incomparable Jay Wheeler delves into the internal struggle of someone trying to move forward, inspiring audiences to find the strength to connect to their inner emotions and tap into the power to move forward.

“We’ve all experienced moments where we don’t know how to move on after losing someone (or something) important to us. ‘No Sé Qué Me Queda’ is my way of expressing that feeling, but also of remembering that, even if it hurts, there’s always a way to move on,” expressed Jay Wheeler.

Directed by long-time collaborator, Jose Sagaro (FilmsHeads), the music video visually reflects the feelings of regret and longing conveyed in the song by Jay’s Wheeler’s flawless interpretation. Set on a dirt road surrounded by sunflowers in the distance, it shows Wheeler walking aimlessly, lost in thought and grief. Each step he takes represents the difficulty of moving forward when unresolved emotions continue to weigh on the heart. Along his path, he raises his hand asking to hitch a ride as cars drive by, reflecting the feeling of being trapped when a love is gone. Through a combination of realistic and imaginary scenes, the feeling of being in emotional limbo is heightened showing the struggle between holding on to memories and letting go.

This weekend, Jay Wheeler is set to headline the Calle Ocho Music Festival 2025 on Sunday, March 9, and prepares to perform his only live show in the U.S. this year. In recognition of his impact on Latin music and culture, Jay Wheeler was named “King of Carnival 2025,” an honor that highlights his ongoing influence and impact int the Latin community and celebrated at the largest Hispanic festival in the U.S., bringing together thousands of fans in the heart of Miami.

Once again, Jay Wheeler proves his mastery of conveying genuine emotions through flawless interpretation of lyrics. “NSQMQ” is the second preview for what’s to come in his eighth studio album.
