The legendary Cuban duo Gente de Zona delivered a historic concert this past Saturday, June 7, at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, becoming the first Cuban duo to sell out the iconic venue. Over 14,000 people joined them for a night filled with energy and emotion, celebrating their 25-year career.

Produced by entertainment, marketing, media, and live events company Loud And Live, the show solidified the duo’s position as pioneers of Latin music on an international level. “It is a true honor for me to be part of this historic event, celebrating icons of Cuban music and the creators of a genre that transcends borders,” said Nelson Albareda, CEO of Loud And Live. Meanwhile, as a sponsor of the event, attorney Amanda Demanda shared: “This concert is a cultural milestone, and being part of this experience is something I deeply value. As a proud Cuban-American, it’s essential for me to celebrate those in our community who are breaking barriers and making a real impact. Gente de Zona has done that through music, and I do so through my legal work.”

For over two hours, Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom of Gente de Zona electrified Miami with their biggest hits, historic collaborations, and heartfelt tributes to their roots, transforming the night into a true musical journey through their career.

One emotional highlight was the reunion between Alexander Delgado and Jacob Forever, a former member of Gente de Zona. Together with Nando Pro, they performed nostalgic hits like “El Animal,” “Le Gustan Los Artistas,” and “Están Locos,” recalling the group’s early days. To usher in a new era, Randy Malcom returned to the stage with a timbales solo for “Conga,” the Gloria Estefan classic.

The energy remained high with anthems like “Muchacha,” “Bailando,” and “Patria y Vida,” featuring special guests Descemer Bueno, Yotuel, and Funky. A special interlude also featured young dancers from the academy Baila con Micho, creating an unforgettable moment.

From their latest release “Reparto by Gente de Zona”, the duo paid tribute to Cuba’s reparto scene, performing key tracks from this influential project including “La Guagua,” “La Conga,” “Se Trata,” and “Rico Cantidad.” They were joined on stage by prominent new-generation reparto artists such as Zurdo MC, Wow Popy, Dale Pututi, L Kimii, Dany Ome, and Kevincito El 13.

The lineup of special guests was top-tier, with surprise performances by Leoni Torres (“Traidora”), Diana Fuentes (“La Vida Me Cambió”), Maffio and Motiff (Visualízate medley), adding even more excitement to an unforgettable evening. One of the night’s biggest highlights was the surprise appearance of Marc Anthony, who joined the duo for their global hit “La Gozadera,” sending the crowd into a frenzy and closing the anniversary celebration on a high note.

The concert featured world-class production, with a team of over 200 people including dancers, technicians, and staff, massive LED screens, stunning lighting, and stage design that complemented every moment. The duo filled the venue with their signature energy, showing why they’ve conquered stages around the world and reaffirming their legacy, their bond with fans, and their unwavering dedication to Latin music and culture.
