Devotion, dedication, and passion… these words perfectly describe an artist like Carlos Rivera, who, with his latest album, Sincerándome, solidifies himself as one of the most important singer-songwriters of today.

Fuiste la esperanza, la que me salvó / La que las ganas de vivir a mí me devolvió” (You were the hope, the one who saved me / The one who gave me back the desire to live) are some of the verses that reveal Carlos‘s most intimate feelings to the audience. For the official video, he collaborated with the renowned director Nuno Gomes (Bad Bunny, SIA, Romeo Santos).

The new song is released just hours before the premiere of the Disney+ series “Mi Música, Mi Tierra,” which will feature a first episode dedicated to Carlos and his heartfelt connection to his hometown of Huamantla. “Para Ti” is also Carlos‘s first release since Sincerándome (2023), an album that spent 13 weeks in the top 10 of sales since its release, debuted at #9 on the global Spotify chart, and won the Best Pop Album at the 2023 Premios Juventud.

Sincerándome,” the single that shared its name with the album, was #1 on pop radio and #1 on general radio for 2 weeks, accumulating over 13.5 million streams on digital platforms. This success was replicated with tracks like “Digan Lo Que Digan” and “Te Soñé,” which were #1 on Pop Radio. The same goes for “Alguien Me Esperaba en Madrid” featuring Carin León and Eden Muñoz, which reached #1 on general radio, all included in his album Sincerándome.

GALE TEAMS UP WITH BRUSES FOR THE SPOOKY NEW SINGLE  “MOVIE”

Published

3x Latin GRAMMY-nominated Puerto-Rican singer-songwriter GALE enlists Mexican indie-pop artist Bruses for “Movie,” a fun collaboration that pays homage to the best of female-fronted pop-punk. The track exudes main-character energy in a song written about a relationship that makes you feel less than – listen here!

It brings GALE back to her early years listening to Simple Plan, Paramore and Avril Lavigne, to name a few. “It’s forward, exciting, upbeat and with a beautiful message of understanding you’re the lead of this movie called life. Nobody should dim your light, or treat you like less. Let’s remember our bad choices from our 20s and have fun while at it!” It’s “fun and not too serious,” intended by GALE and collaborators to “play a lot with the lyrics and production.”

This song is a bit different from what my music sounds like,” which GALE explains is what she loves the most about it. “It’s perfect for this time of the year where we have fun picking a character and becoming someone else.” A happy halloween for her fans, GALE delivers a classic 90s slasher/horror film-inspired official video, starring the two women teaming up to defeat an evil entity – watch here!

“Movie” is GALE’s first offering since she scored the Latin GRAMMY Best New Artist” nomination this year, celebrating her debut album, “Lo Que No Te Dijelisten here! As a songwriter, GALE also landed a nomination for “El Merengue” (Marshmello, Manuel Turizo) in the category of “Best Tropical Song.” This year’s nominations bring GALE to a career total of 3 nominations – 2 as a songwriter, 1 as a solo-artist.

Rolling Stone praised GALE as “Latin Pop’s New It Girl and dubbed her debut a “glowing collection of songs that puts [her] knack for pop melodies and confessional lyricism on display.” Named by Rolling Stone as one of the “Best Albums of 2023” and Billboard as one of the “Best Latin Albums” of the year, the 12-songs track the multi-color shades of GALE’s journey; from fuck-you feminist punk anthems, vulnerable heartbreak ballads and even dream-pop odes to self-pleasure. It’s a delicious combination of pop and eurodance with punk and grunge influences and an urban-flow. “It was all part of what happened to me: this is what I have to say,” she says.

GALE commands every stage she’s on, as she spent her summer performing at festivals and supporting Juanes on his headline tour in Spain. In May the Rolling Stone Act Set to Make it Big in 2023” and Billboard co-signed “Artist to Watch” performed the national anthem at the F1 Miami Grand Prix and joined the baddest women in music in a Billboard Latin Week panel ‘Boys Club No More!’ – watch here

GALE’s impressive range and capability is on display throughout her debut album “Lo Que No Te Dije.” She takes us to the dancefloor with electro-beats and eurodance energy on “Nuestra Canción”, which peaked at #7 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart.  Conversely, the Y2K-grunge track “Problemas”, which rocketed to the Top 15, charts the toxicity of pure physical attraction, and “Inmadura” is a rock’n’roll inspired, liberating anthem. Needless to say, GALE opens up without restraint. “D-Pic” is a triumphant reminder that GALE isn’t afraid to venture into uncharted lyrical territory. “No quiero una foto de tu—” (I don’t want a picture of your —) she sings on the chorus; capturing the defiant spirit of an 8M march.

In love, not everything goes as one hopes, with stubborn realities where there are no fairy tale endings. Abraham Mateo and Sebastián Yatra team up to present “Xq Sigues Pasando? 🙁“, a song that delves into the feeling of being in love and not being reciprocated. A collaboration brimming with anger and energy in one of the most anticipated musical unions of 2023. Listen HERE.

The strength of traditional pop-rock sound, a romantic lyric that’s easy to relate to, and a catchy chorus come together organically to create an undeniable hit. The partnership between Mateo and Yatra also showcases the compositional quality and versatility of both artists, who excel in any genre.

Xq Sigues Pasando? :(“ is accompanied by a powerful music video that enhances the concept and message of a song that departs from melancholic lamentations and reinvigorates us in these final moments of summer.

Abraham Mateo’s star continues to shine with achievements in and outside of music. In addition to his undeniable individual success with “Maníaca” (his personal take on the 80s classic “Maniac” by Michael Sambello), he has had significant collaborations with Daviles de Novelda in “Te Miro A La Cara” and with Eurovision contestant Chanel in “Clavaito.” The latter has been the song of the summer, thanks to remarkable numbers, remaining at #6 on the Top 50 and in the top 10 of key playlists like “Éxitos España” (Peak #1), “Viral España 2023,” or “Top del Pop,” even reaching #1 on the Top 100 Radio Charts.

His memorable victory in Ibai Llanos’ “La Velada del Año III,” one of the biggest global entertainment events, and his participation in the most important music radio galas have solidified and enhanced the image of the young artist from Cádiz as one of the leading representatives of Spanish-language pop music, appealing to all types of audiences.

The boiling point of this stage in Abraham Mateo’s career crystallizes with his artistic union with Sebastián Yatra, who also shows no sign of slowing down. The Medellín native tops the charts with his latest release, “Vagabundo,” and is a widely recognized figure with over 28 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 30 million followers on Instagram, and 19 million on TikTok.

In this surprising collaboration, the duo asks why you keep passing by, something impossible to do in this collision of talent and charisma with international acclaim. Once you experience it, you won’t be able to stop listening to this big hit as we welcome autumn.
